You can deactivate your profile by logging into your account at the top-right hand corner of the screen, and heading to the 'Account' dashboard via the drop-down menu.
Click on 'My Profile', and on the bottom of the page, there is a button "Deactivate my profile". If you change your mind, you can activate your profile again by navigating to the profile page and clicking "Activate my Profile".
